It’s still worse to feel condemned by the law. A Christian who feels the condemnation of the law still, is like a wife who still feels under the condemnation of that first husband — from whom she’s been separated by death. You must never go back under the law. There is now therefore no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus. Never allow yourself to go back under condemnation. I may be unworthy of my new husband, but that’s not going to put me back unto the other. That would be nonsense, that’s confusion, despite how you may feel about yourself.
